Digital Marketing Specialist

Momentum Marketing is an award-winning, creative, and energetic full-service marketing firm located in Charleston, SC searching for a full-time experienced digital marketing specialist to join our fast-paced company. We’re seeking an experienced marketer to plan and execute paid social media and email marketing campaigns to help drive results for clients. In addition, this position will project manage multiple online initiatives and third-party relationships, update client website content and compile digital reports to measure campaign performance.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Agency Principal and the Digital Marketing Manager. Daily responsibilities include paid social media ad campaign management, budgeting, future campaign planning, client reporting, website updates, and A/B testing. In addition, this position will compile client presentations, and assist with other digital marketing related tasks such industry research.

Qualified candidates should have experience running and managing social media ads including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok & Pinterest, a passion for digital marketing, and a desire to stay current on industry trends. Ideal candidates will be able to tell powerful success stories through data and can effectively communicate those results to account managers and clients.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and optimize social media advertising campaigns for current clients.
  • Assist with campaign report analysis, optimization recommendations, client presentation decks, and budget reviews.
  • Manage monthly client reporting to highlight channel performance and provide performance insights and recaps.
  • Digital media account management and fostering client relationships.
  • Proactively stay current on digital marketing trends and identify any new opportunities, specifically related to social media marketing. 

 

Position Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Experience planning and executing paid social media campaigns for clients in multiple industries, such as retail, automotive, medical, home services, etc.
  • Proficient in excel and can turn data into visual reports.
  • Shopify or related eCommerce experience earns you bonus points.
  • Expertise with tools like TapClicks for reporting, Buffer (or similar programs) for social media scheduling, WordPress, Shopify, and Google Analytics.
  • You take pride in achieving great results for clients.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.

Automotive Digital Account Manager

 

Momentum Marketing is a full-service marketing agency looking to grow its digital marketing department with the addition of a Director of Digital Marketing. Momentum Marketing is seeking an experienced marketer to plan and execute programmatic display and video advertising, email marketing, and PPC/SEM campaigns to help drive results for clients. In addition, this position will assist with and direct client website content updates, digital marketing reports, and client strategy.

 

Momentum Marketing, a full-service marketing agency based in Charleston, SC, is looking for an experienced Automotive Digital Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for learning, a solid understanding of the requirements of working with the automotive industry and enjoy employing digital media strategies and tactics to drive sales. We are searching for a seasoned professional that is both enthusiastic about the automotive retail industry and digital marketing. Experience with Mercedes-Benz and Porsche dealerships is a plus.

 

The Automotive Digital Account Manager works directly with the Agency Principal to drive strategy via a proactive understanding of the clients’ business, hands-on management of web, email, social media, paid search, third party digital vendors, coop, manufacturer compliance guidelines, and project coordination. A demonstrated history of relationship-building with agency clients is critical, along with collaborative work with other agency departments.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Oversees day-to-day digital activities for all assigned clients.
  • Keeps progress of clients’ projects through account coordinators, creative team, and other relevant personnel.
  • Quickly and accurately relays client updates and information to all appropriate agency personnel.
  • Effectively presents all agency work/proposals to clients.
  • Attends web meetings with manufacturers to keep abreast of current offerings and dealer requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of all relevant client, industry, and market developments.
  • Assists in preparing client budgets, estimates and proposals, marketing communications, strategic marketing plans, media proposals, social calendar, etc.
  • Regularly checks for and responds promptly to all client communications, including calls and emails.
  • Oversees execution of approved programs and ensures they are completed on time and on budget.
  • Checks and approves creative/production materials, copy, layouts, production art, and coordinates client approval of all materials.
  • Places client help wanted ads on digital platforms.
  • Reviews billing prior to release to clients.
  • Works with third party vendors on media buys and contracts for clients.
  • Provides campaign reports and draws insights and conclusions for clients.
  • Identifies and addresses customers’ concerns and needs with a sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Submits advertising creative for manufacturer compliance approval.
  • Submits invoices and proof of campaign execution for compliance coop claims.

 

 

Position Skills & Qualifications

 

  • 3 to 5 years of account management experience (ideally at an agency)
  • 1-3 years of expertise in automotive retail industry related marketing
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital media sales/strategy
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple team members and clients
  • Working knowledge of automotive industry tools, platforms (including but not limited to GA4 & Ads Manager)

Daily responsibilities include managing a small team of digital marketers/vendors and overseeing performance marketing, display ad campaign creation, PPC campaign optimization, future campaign planning, client reporting and A/B testing. In addition, this position will oversee email marketing campaigns, compile client presentations, and assist with other digital marketing related tasks such as social media and industry research.

Qualified candidates should have a passion for digital marketing and a desire to stay current on industry trends. Ideal candidates will be able to tell powerful success stories through data and can effectively communicate those results to account managers and clients.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Google Analytics and Google AdWords.
  • Minimum 3 years of proficiency/experience with Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Experience planning and executing search and display campaigns for clients in multiple industries, such as retail, automotive, medical, home services, etc.
  • Google Certified (or are willing to become certified within 90 days of hire).
  • Proficient in excel and can turn data into visual reports.
  • Shopify or related eCommerce experience earns you bonus points.
  • Expertise with tools like TapClicks for reporting, Simpli.Fi for programmatic display advertising, Wordpress, Shopify, and Google Analytics.
  • You take pride in achieving great results for clients.
