It Was a Whirlwind of Events for Momentum This Weekend!

This weekend, the Momentum team was out and about all over Charleston supporting events being held by a few of our clients. The Coastal Cupboard’s Biggest Big Green Egg Cookout Ever, Wonder Works’ Elfstravaganza, and the Charleston Basket Brigade at Daniel Island Park Day all had successful Saturdays.

Our Account Coordinator, Heidi Welch, and Social Media Manager, Chelse Hensley, represented Momentum Marketing as they attended the Biggest Big Green Egg Cookout Ever at The Coastal Cupboard on Saturday. The official Big Green Egg team was on hand along with The Coastal Cupboard Staff to cook up delicious gourmet samples such as peach and pineapple cobbler, bacon-wrapped shrimp, grilled chicken, grilled pizza and more. Doc Crombie was also entertaining visitors and grilling sausages on the Big Green Egg, he was a big hit!

Our Agency Principal’s charity, the Charleston Basket Brigade (CBB), had a table up at Daniel Island Park Day promoting the CBB’s mission to feed local residents in-need this Thanksgiving. Public Relations Director, Emily Trogdon and Account Coordinator, Maria Rebula, worked the Sports Challenge Combo area at Park Day and encouraged participants to donate or learn more about the cause. They did a wonderful job because they raised $411 for the Charleston Basket Brigade and 100% of donations will be utilized to purchase the ingredients needed to make a Thanksgiving meal. Way to go, girls!

Wonder Works‘ Elfstravaganza was a huge hit and for the second year in a row, Gillian Mechling, our Account Executive, was on hand to facilitate all of the events and make sure the day went smoothly. Momentum had a great time coordinating Elfstravaganza and helping Wonder Works fulfill their every wish and dream for the event and it was a huge success! Over 3,000 kids and parents alike visited Wonder Works in West Ashley to sample the season’s hottest toys, meet Rainbow Loom inventor, Choon, take part in arts and crafts tents and get their picture taken with Elfie and Thomas and Friends’ Sir Topham Hatt.
