Momentum Takes On The Charleston Basket Brigade
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, our Momentum team is hard at work preparing for the 9th annual Charleston Basket Brigade. The nonprofit organization, started by Momentum Marketing’s Pam Hartley and her dear friend Michelle Scarafile, serves local families in need for Thanksgiving and is made possible with the help of our food partner (Piggly Wiggly), local volunteers and generous donations made by others. Every year since 2008, the number of families we feed continuously grows; in the past eight years, the Charleston Basket Brigade has fed 17,839 families!
Each basket we construct holds enough food to feed a family of six. By donating just $30, you can feed an entire family for the holiday. Volunteers are always needed to help assemble the baskets and hand deliver the meals to every receiving family.
