Baker Motor Company Aims to Raise $10,000 for Susan G. Komen Lowcountry With #PinkRibbonRolls Campaign
The month of October marks National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, where communities across the nation welcome everything pink to promote breast cancer awareness. However, the Charleston community may see something a little different “rolling” down the street in pink. Baker Motor Company’s Rolls-Royce Motor Cars of Charleston is thrilled to introduce the #PinkRibbonRolls, a Rolls-Royce Ghost that has been completely wrapped in a pink ribbon design. The mission: to raise breast cancer awareness and $10,000 for Susan G. Komen Lowcountry.
Spot this perfectly pink Rolls-Royce Ghost about town at local events and happenings during the month of October. For a minimum donation of $1 anyone may sign the vehicle in honor or in memory of a loved one affected by breast cancer. 100% of donations will be donated to Susan G. Komen Lowcountry.
Baker Motor Company General Sales Manager, AJ Geffert said, “Every single person in our community knows someone affected by breast cancer; whether it is you, a family member, friend, co-worker, a neighbor, or acquaintance. We wanted to do something that brought our Charleston community together while raising money and awareness at the same time.”
“Our goal is to raise $10,000 and we need the help of everyone in the community. Everyone has a dollar in their pocket; so we encourage you to find the #PinkRibbonRolls, donate your dollar, and sign away. We can do this!” added Geffert.
