Women's Global Convocation set for Oct. 6-9, 2011 in Charleston – Don't forget to register!

It’s only a little over a week until the Sophia Institute‘s Women of Wisdom convocation takes place here in Charleston, SC Oct. 6-9! We’ve been busy preparing for the big event and are looking forward to a challenging, awakening weekend of enlightenment and transformation. Did you know there is even a kickoff concert? We are so looking forward to this experience! Don’t forget to register online for individual components or the entire convocation!

The convocation opens with “Uncommon Sounds,” a concert featuring four women exploring the Feminine through music on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 8 p.m., at the historic St. Stephens Episcopal Church (67 Anson Street, Charleston). Devaa Haley Mitchell and Charleston musicians Laura Ball and Ann Caldwell will perform original pieces to highlight the weekend’s musical spirit. On Friday, Oct. 7 at 9:30 a.m., the pre-convocation intensive Midwives of the Planetary Shift is a daylong event before the convocation starts Friday evening at Ashley Hall.  As an added bonus, the convocation will also be available for live streaming online!

Unlike a conference that is session-driven, Women of Wisdom is organized to allow each presenter the chance to collaborate and build organically from an approach that is feminine, synchronistic and creative. Register today for this truly extraordinary event – it’s certain to be an unforgettable unique learning experience.
