Baker Motor Company Featured in Automotive News

Our client, Baker Motor Company has just been recognized by Automotive News in a big way.

The CEO and Founder of Baker Motor Company, Tommy Baker, recently gave an interview to Automotive News because Baker Motor Company was listed as one of the “Best Dealerships to Work For.” What an honor!

Baker Motor Company has 250 employees that all receive 300 hours of training a year. In the article Baker says “employee training has been vital to the company’s growth and stellar customer satisfaction.”

“Everybody gets training: sales, managers, concierge, technicians,” he continues. The training is mostly divided between online and classroom learning and it pays off in a major way.

The Automotive News article also touched upon Baker Motor Company of Charleston’s prestigious technicians.

Baker Motor Company has four technicians certified as Gold Technician by one of our brands, Porsche. This is the highest achievement available for Porsche service technicians and only 100 Porsche technicians in the country have reached that accomplishment.
