Baker Motor Company of Mount Pleasant Expands to Mercedes-Benz Mount Pleasant

You may have noticed that Baker Motor Company of Mount Pleasant’s lot at 2121 Hwy 17 is looking a little barren. That is because the certified pre-owned dealership is now transitioning into Mount Pleasant’s first Mercedes-Benz dealership.

25 years ago Mercedes-Benz was Baker Motor Company’s flagship brand. Now Baker Motor Company will operate the only two Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the Charleston area.

This new dealership will provide residents East of the Cooper with a more convenient buying and service experience.

The new, state-of-the-art showroom will feature the newest Mercedes-Benz vehicles in addition to a service drive, parts department, customer lounge and other new features. Certified pre-owned vehicles will also be available at the new dealership.

Construction of the new building is currently underway and is expected to be complete in Spring 2015.

All Mount Pleasant inventory has been moved to Baker Motor Company at 1511 Savannah Hwy. in West Ashley. Until the construction is complete, all sales and service needs have been directed to the West Ashley dealership.
