Loeber Motors Announces Porsche Chicago Opening Early 2018
We’re excited for Mike Loeber, President of Loeber Motors, and his phenomenal team for their newest venture—the all-new Porsche Chicago coming to the Gold Coast early 2018. Loeber Motors, which represents Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, smart and Mercedes-Benz Vans in Lincolnwood, IL, has been a family-run business for 80 years now, and with each new year, the automotive group continues to grow. The new downtown dealership will be located at 1100 N. Clark Street. Construction on the building will begin in Summer 2017 and is estimated to be complete in early 2018.
Once the new Porsche Chicago dealership debuts in 2018, Loeber Porsche will continue to maintain its Porsche service operation in Lincolnwood, becoming the first Porsche service center point awarded in the history of Porsche Cars North America. With 18 service bays at the current dealership, plus an expected 30 service bays at the future downtown location, Loeber’s combined Porsche operation will provide more service than any other Porsche dealer in the Chicago area. The downtown dealership will also offer pick-up and delivery services, as well as shuttle service.
Loeber said, “Porsche has never had an exclusive dealership in downtown Chicago. We are getting a lot of support from Porsche nationally and globally to bring the brand downtown. It will be a unique and historic moment in both Loeber Motors and Porsche history. We have a tremendous opportunity to introduce the iconic Porsche brand to driving enthusiasts that live in the city.”
