Palmetto Moon Pledges to Donate $35,000 to Mother Emanuel Hope Fund

Momentum is excited to share that Robert Webster, Chairman & CEO of Palmetto Moon, will pledge $35,000 to the Mother Emanuel Hope Fund through the sale of Charleston Strong t-shirts.

The company has ordered 3,500 t-shirts and will be selling them online and in all Palmetto Moon stores. The t-shirts are $10 and 100% of every single t-shirt sale will go to the Mother Emanuel Hope Fund, culminating in a $35,000 donation.

Webster said, “As a local Charleston company we are very blessed that we are in the position to help support the families of the AME Mother Emanuel Church.”

“We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the South Carolina community. Our phones have not stopped ringing. Every single person has come into our store with the desire to help the community. It makes me proud to work at Palmetto Moon and live in this city,” said Jamie Dement, Online & Media Coordinator.

After realizing the compassion of this community, as well as the people of South Carolina and people across the country, Palmetto Moon ordered an additional 3,000 t-shirts.
