10 Years of Momentum!

There’s nothing better than a day on the water here in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina.  Agency Principal Pam Hartley proved that point last Friday, by putting together a team outing on Good Friday (Friday, April 3, 2015) we affectionately called “Friday Funday”, a day full of reminiscing, laughter and libations. The Momentum Team was all aboard to celebrate 10 years in business and to reward ourselves for a busy first quarter.

“I incorporated in Georgia in April 2005,” said Hartley. “I was living in Savannah at the time and decided I was ready to become an entrepreneur and bring my ideas to market.  My concept was simple: to build a marketing platform that creates momentum and growth from the inside out.”

Having worked with business owners for over fifteen years, Hartley had discovered that when she was able to market a business with incredible customer service – it was easy to create momentum and cause a tipping point for the business to grow. She added, “When the customer service brand is thriving from within our clients’ businesses, our special blend of promotion and creative can cause exponential growth within weeks.”

Hartley relocated her home and Momentum Marketing to Charleston, South Carolina in July 2008. “I loved visiting Charleston. It just felt like home to me.” That year, she and friend Michelle Scarafile founded The Charleston Basket Brigade, a non-profit that feeds thousands of families in need at Thanksgiving throughout the Tri-county area.

Today, Momentum Marketing serves clients in five states. “I had no idea where I would be in ten years when this business began,” said Hartley. “After a decade, I’m proud to have a prestigious list of wonderful clients, the most talented team of professionals on board and clients reporting continual sales increases month after month. We get results, period.”

The team also takes time out to celebrate.  “I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to do what I do everyday,” she added. “To have such a great team along with clients that we really enjoy collaborating with means everything.”
