Meet Our New Public Relations Director, Angharad Chester-Jones

We’re excited to welcome Angharad Chester-Jones to the Momentum Marketing team as our new Public Relations Director. She has a vast public-relations background that includes over 10 years of experience in the field. She earned two degrees from the College of Charleston: a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science in Media Communications. Her education led her to pursue opportunities abroad in England, Spain, and Chile. Angharad began her career in the United States working as the Food and Beverage Marketing Coordinator for Kiawah Island Golf Resort. She held positions with Patrick Properties Hospitality Group, The Dee Norton Lowcountry Children’s Center, the Historical Society of Greenwich in Connecticut, and LaAmistad (a non-profit organization based in Atlanta) before joining Gulfstream Communications, parent company of Charleston Magazine and Charleston Fashion Week. There, she served as the company’s PR and Marketing Manager. Angharad then worked tirelessly to open a Charleston office for a Boston-based marketing and PR firm.

Bringing all of this experience to the table, Angharad is eager to jump in and spearhead our PR efforts as our new Public Relations Director. When she’s not promoting our rock-star clients, Angharad can be found serving as a board member of the Gavalas Kolanko Foundation, volunteering on the PR team for TEDxCharleston, running, dancing, practicing yoga, playing tennis, swimming, paddle boarding, or reading.
