The Coastal Cupboard Raises Over $2,200 for The Charleston Basket Brigade

We are thrilled to announce that our client, The Coastal Cupboard, raised over $2,200 during the Charity Knife Sharpening Event benefitting the Charleston Basket Brigade.

The event was held this past weekend, November 1st through 3rd. It was only $1 to sharpen each knife and for every single knife sharpened $1 was donated to the Charleston Basket Brigade.

It only takes $30 to feed a family of 4-6 and this weekend we raised enough money to feed 73 families this Thanksgiving!

The Charleston Basket Brigade is very near and dear to our hearts as our Agency Principal, Pam Hartley, is a co-founder of this charity.

We are sending a huge THANK YOU to The Coastal Cupboard for hosting the Charity Knife Sharpening Event this. The Coastal Cupboard truly is the most beloved kitchen store in town- and for good reason!

We also want to send a  special thanks to Doc Crombie’s BBQ Sauce for donating a $1 for every bottle of sauce sold at the event. We have made a big difference for so many on Thanksgiving.

The Charleston Basket Brigade is a local nonprofit organization with a commitment to bring the community together to provide Charleston Tri-County families with all of the ingredients to cook a Thanksgiving meal. This year the Charleston Basket Brigade has set a goal to raise $100,000 to feed 20,000 residents (Approximately 3,333 families) for Thanksgiving. It only takes $30 to feed a family of 6-8 and 100% of the donations go towards purchasing food.
