Sharpen Up For Charity at The Coastal Cupboard

The Coastal Cupboard’s Semi Annual Charity Knife Sharpening Event is happening this Thursday June 11 – Sunday, June 14 during store hours benefiting East Cooper Meals on Wheels (ECMOW).

Bring your knives and have them professionally sharpened for only $1 per knife where every single dollar goes back to ECMOW.

Brad Pitner, owner of The Coastal Cupboard said, “We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary this year, so we want to make a huge impact with this event to thank the community for their amazing support over the years. It only takes 4 sharpened knives to feed one person for a day. Our goal is to raise $5,000, which will feed 1,250 people with food for a day.”

There will entertainment aplenty at The Coastal Cupboard throughout the weekend including knife demonstrations, tricks and tips; delicious bites from the Big Green Egg and Stonewall Kitchen and Doc Crombie’s Barbecue.
