Why Run The Cooper River Bridge Run?

We are so excited to celebrate Cooper River Bridge Run’s 40th anniversary and promote the growth of the organization! After years and years of hosting the famous 10K, the number of participants continues to grow, making the Bridge Run larger than ever. The Cooper River Bridge Run is full of opportunities that you can’t find anywhere else and creates a memorable experience for those who attend. Find out why you should run the 2017 Cooper River Bridge Run below!

  1. The Bridge Run promotes health and wellness through physical activity and brings all participants a sense of accomplishment.
  2. It also broadens community cooperation and participation in healthy events all around the Lowcountry! You can even receive a grant; the Cooper River Bridge Run Fund grants up to $1,500 and is available annually to nonprofit organizations serving Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties that promote regular physical activity for a healthy lifestyle.
  3. The Cooper River Bridge Run carries charity connections! On the registration form, the Bridge Run offers participants the opportunity to help raise money for 15 charities, such as the American Diabetes Association, Pet Helpers, American Cancer Society, Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy and more.
  4. All Cooper River Bridge Run participants receive a finisher medal upon crossing the finish line and create a memory they’ll never forget.

Why wouldn’t you want to join the movement and run the Cooper River Bridge Run? The Momentum Marketing team is certainly eager for race day, and we’re looking forward to promoting the Bridge Run in the community and on social media.
