The ideal candidate will have experience with developing and placing creative media plans that support client business objectives in multiple local markets across the USA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in buying television and/or radio. Familiarity with buying software such as Strata, SmartPlus or TvScan/TapScan is strongly preferred. Experience working in a small advertising agency is a plus. Proficiency with MS-Word and Excel is required.

  • Leveraging available media research to improve buying strategies
  • Maximize media budgets
  • Aggressively negotiating rates
  • Evaluating new media opportunities
  • Identifying or creating value-added packages to improve client media plans
  • Placing broadcast, outdoor and print media buys
  • Approving invoices, reconciling discrepancies and posting buys, as appropriate
  • Leading on-going communication with clients and team members
  • Tracking budgets and results
