Sharpen Up for a Cause at The Coastal Cupboard’s Charity Knife Sharpening Event Benefiting the Charleston Basket Brigade

You’re all invited to The Coastal Cupboard this weekend for their Semi-Annual Charity Knife Sharpening Event from October 30 – November 2, 2014. Get your knives professionally sharpened for just $1 per knife where every single dollar benefits the Charleston Basket Brigade, a local charity co-founded by Momentum Marketing Agency Principal, Pam Hartley, with a mission to raise $100,000 to provide full Thanksgiving meals to 3,300 Charleston area families.

The event will feature knife skills demonstrations, food tastings, and specials on cutlery sets and knife sharpeners, and knife gadgets. Jimmy Hagood, owner of Food for the Southern Soul, will be sampling his specialty sauces, rubs, and marinades on Friday, October 31st. Doc Crombie, with Doc Crombie’s BBQ, will have samples of his famous sauces on food hot off of the Big Green Egg.

This event gets bigger and bigger each year, so we invite everyone to come out and sharpen their knives for this incredible cause!”
