Momentum Marketing Produces TV PSA for Abby’s Friends

It’s not everyday that we get to work with an incredibly talented and outgoing 13 year old like Abby Sutterlin! We were thrilled to donate our time and expertise to create a 30 second PSA this past Monday for Abby’s Friends, a local Charleston charity founded by the Sutterlin family in 2006 when Abby, then 4 years old, was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes. The PSA was shot and edited by The Chart Group and will air during the 2013 Family Circle Cup tennis tournament on Daniel Island March 30-April 7.

Since Abby’s diagnosis, the family has raised over $1.2 Million for the cause. Unlike Type 2 diabetes, Juvenile Diabetes is not related to lifestyle. It’s a disease that affects children and there is no cure at this time. Kendall Sutterlin, Abby’s mom said, “As a parent, there’s so much to learn when your child’s diagnosed, so we raise money to help Lowcountry parents understand how to support their child and we also donate one-third of every dollar we raise for research for a cure”.
