Momentum Goes to School for Community Pizza House

The Community Pizza House is in the midst of creating a craftsmen wall for their new restaurant. In search for images of local hands working on creative tasks, the Momentum team traveled to Dorchester County Career and Technology Center (DCCTC) to take photos of the hands-on programs the school has to offer to use for the restaurant’s project.

The visit to DCCTC was extremely inspirational, as we witnessed young adults learning trades locally while still attending high school. Most of these students will have the privilege of already being licensed before graduation; they’ll have a career before attending college. The school offers 18 programs including welding, masonry, culinary arts, cosmetology and more. While touring the school and taking photos of the students at work, we discovered there are many different kinds of craftsman in the world.

Community Pizza House is an awesome and unique place to dine and enjoy a few drinks. The pizzas are all hand-crafted and cooked in a wood fire. We are so excited to be a part of this project and see first-hand the works of craftsmen.
