Golfun' for a Great Cause Raises $5,000 for the Charleston Basket Brigade!

L to R: Glenn Sojourner, Pam Hartley, Bradley O’Mara, Michelle Scarafile, Ellen Stebbins

We had such an incredible time at The Lowcountry Business Network/Armada Real Estate’s Golfun’ for a Cause Charity Golf Tournament! Held this past Saturday, May 12, this fantastic event benefited Momentum’s own Pam Hartley and good friend Michelle Scarfile’s charity, the Charleston Basket Brigade. Thanks to everyone involved, this second annual event raised approximately $5,000!

We are so grateful to Ellen Stebbins and Bradley O’Mara for organizing such a dynamic event. From the silent auction, to caddie girl auction and the after party downtown at The Cocktail Club, the fundraiser was executed flawlessly and will feed approximately 1,000 people this Thanksgiving. This is a great kickoff the Basket Brigade’s $100,000 fundraising goal for 2012!

Approximately 72 golfers participated in the tournament. Teams of four registered with a $500 donation. Each golfer received lunch and a gift bag with over $1,000 in gift certificates and merchandise, with many other exciting prizes awarded throughout the day!

Overall, it was a beautiful day, spirits were high and we were all focused on making a difference.  Thank you to everyone who came out to help us feed families this Thanksgiving!
