Porsche of North Houston Receives Automotive News Top 100 Dealership Award

Todd Blue, Chairman and CEO of Houston-based indiGO Auto Group accepted the Automotive News Best Dealerships to Work For 2015 award for indiGO Auto Group’s Porsche of North Houston during an awards gala at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago, IL on October 14, 2015.
This prestigious award identifies the top 100 dealerships in the United States and Canada that excel in creating quality workplace environments. This is the first time Porsche of North Houston participated in the industry survey since the dealership’s inception in 2010.
Mr. Blue said, “We spend as much, or more, time in the workplace as we do in our homes; making our environments stimulating and inspiring translates into retention and performance. Creating unique and authentic environments and experiences for our team results in business success and activating customer ownership.”
The 100 dealerships were selected by Best Companies Group, which screened extensive surveys filled out by 62,000 employees of U.S. and Canadian stores that applied for the distinction. Porsche of North Houston employees completed a detailed “Employee Engagement & Satisfaction” survey earlier this year that focused on 8 Core Focus Areas: Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communications, Role Satisfaction, Work Environment, Relationship with Supervisor, Training, Development and Resources, Pay and Benefits, and Overall Engagement.
Amongst Blue’s many corporate wide employee-centric initiatives, the company provides: lunch to all employees every Saturday to foster relationships and to create fellowship and camaraderie among the staff; awards trips to teams when they reach company goals, including a recent all expenses paid trip to Las Vegas; gifts for every employee including custom indiGO Nike Gore-Tex jackets; awards to employees every month celebrating achievements and much more.
