Baker Motor Company Charleston Fashion Week – Opening Night

For months Momentum worked with the Charleston Fashion Week design team, Gathering Events, to create a chic club environment for guests in the VIP Lounge, sponsored by Gwynn’s of Mount Pleasant and Atlantic Coast Advisory Group. This lounge was created to host VIP guests of the lounge sponsors, Baker Motor Company guests, and the “who’s who” in the media and fashion world.

Baker Motor Company hosted an opening night party for nearly 100 guests in the Gwynn’s VIP Lounge before the runway shows started. Specialty cocktails were flowing, music was playing, and and Baker guests left with a complementary custom bag filled with Fashion Week swag.

82 Queen catered the VIP Lounge with delicious grilled shrimp, marinated salad, and toasted crostinis topped with a pork bacon pâté and cheese. We are looking forward to 82 Queen catering two more times this week, along with sister restaurant Lowcountry Bistro and Charleston’s favorite BBQ joint Swig & Swine.

Once guests headed over to the runway tent, the show opened up with a custom Baker Motor Company video. Momentum was on a mission to bring to life the philosophy and achievements of the Charleston Fashion Week title sponsor in an elegant and humble manner with this video.

Not only did we negotiate these sponsorships, we maximized their branding through custom signage and media activation while managing this VIP experience for our clients and their guests.
