The Momentum Girls Drive and Review the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 Cabriolet

We’ve been having so much fun working on an ongoing review series for Baker Motor Company. Our Social Media Manager Julia Melvin and our Events and Content Manager Megan Busch have driven around town in a Porsche 718 Boxster, an Infiniti QX60, a Jaguar F-PACE, a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Convertible, and now a Mercedes-Benz C300 Cabriolet. This week, they gathered photos for Baker Motor Company’s social media and composed a blog reviewing the new C300.

The Mercedes-Benz C300 Cabriolet: A Year-Round Convertible

I’m not a girl who knows a ton about cars. I’ve driven Jeeps all my life (as has my mother), and I really haven’t veered off that track—ever. So, I’ve teamed up with the group at Baker Motor Company to try new things, namely cars outside my norm. A few times each month, I’ll be driving one of Baker’s cars and letting you know what I think. This isn’t going to be a series of Car and Driver or Motor Trend reviews. It’s just a girl sharing her honest opinion about some nifty vehicles.

Is it possible to have an emotional reaction to a car? Because I’m pretty sure I just did. Perhaps it was because my husband had been sick and we had stayed inside all week, or maybe it was because the days prior were rainy and dreary in Charleston. But when I sat in this convertible, put the top back, and turned Darius Rucker on the sound system, it was absolutely magnificent. I was actually happier sitting in this car in the 75-degree sunshine than I had been in days. I felt like I was having the perfect Lowcountry experience. The Mercedes-Benz C300 Cabriolet was just what I needed to break the monotony of the preceding week.
